Let me know when you do so I can thank you personally!
Despite all of Bezos’s shiny gold coins, he still has to lick the boot and call it ‘super intelligence’.
Regardless of what you call it though, AI will change your investing and even your life if you let it.
This might sound like a big claim. But every now and again, a new technology appears, that takes time to be picked up by the masses.
My suggestion for going down the AI rabbit hole..
Download a desktop application for either ChatGPT or Claude.
People will spend lots of time arguing about the nuances and which one is better. I personally prefer Claude, but if someone told me outright that ChatGPT was better, I wouldn’t switch.
What actually matters is using one effectively, which most people have yet to scratch the surface of.
Until you’re using it effectively, it doesn't really make a difference to switch to another AI model because of some tiny nuance. Get proficient first, then start playing around with other models.
Start with this prompt below.
The more detail you give AI, the better the results will be. Terrible inputs equals terrible outputs.
Remember, AI is pattern matching and learns from more data. This means the more data you give it, the better it’ll be able to help you.
Keep prompting it to ask you questions. Keep answering those questions in detail and asking it to ask you more questions based on everything so far.

Eventually, it’ll have more than enough data to build a skill. This means that when you open a new chat, you can load the skill and ask it to use it again a new stock.
My skill saves me hours of work. It doesn’t replace hard work, but it gives an overview of the last five years.
Significant balance sheet events (placings etc)
Forecasted and actual earnings
What management said and what actually happened
What the company does and how it makes its money
And lots more
The beauty of this is that all of the information is free. You can offer it websites to use such as the London Stock Exchange, investegate, company reports and documents, as well as everything available online.
Yes, you might have to pay for an AI subscription depending on how much you use it, but it’s 100% worth it in my opinion.
The goal is to plug in a new stock I’ve not researched for years or ever heard of, and have an initiation-style research note which tells me everything of significance within one detailed report.
I then use that stock to conduct my own research if I believe it’s warranted.
The UK stock market is inefficient and illiquid. There’s already a significant opportunity and AI is a force multiplier.
Spend a few hours with an AI model this weekend. It might not be the most exciting use of your time to start, but it’s not going away. Use it effectively or fall behind!

Michael
